Annie Murphy, also known as Anne Frances Murphy, was born in the year 1986. She hails from Canada and is employed in the Hollywood film industry where she did many projects. She was best known as Alexis Rose on the CBC TV sitcom Schitt's creek, which began in 2015. The show was cancelled in 2020. Her performance was praised by critics and she won the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born in Ontario, Canada's province. Her parents taught at both schools. She enrolled at Elmwood School in Ottawa where they staged productions. Following her graduation in Concordia University with a theatre degree, she enrolled in the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory.
