Lis Wiehl is an American lawyer and writer who was formerly an analyst for Fox News analyst.
She's a professor adjunct of law at New York Law School, as well as an adjunct professor at the University of Washington Law School. She's provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. The Imus morning shows, and hosts her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl is an Yakima resident who graduated from West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's diploma from Barnard College (1983), an MA in Arts in Literary Studies at the University of Queensland (1985) as well as a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She worked as a legal reporter for NPR's All Things Considered. She was the "deputy chief of the investigative team for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. She was a tenured professor in law at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 She also directed the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl is an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
